Blades of this type can be found from Europe to India throughout time in memoriam. The recurve extends the cutting edge out beyond the user’s knuckles, clearing the pathe for farter cleaner cuts. The percussive force of a cleaving motion is also increased but the position of the leading edge. This piece represents a custom order and follows no particular historic example. The blade is polished carbon steel. The guard and pommel are brushed stainless while the handle is stained maple. This daggar measures 18” over all.
